Granny’s Aprons

By Holly Williams

My main character(s) goes back to my childhood days growing up in a predominantly African American community in Chicago. My grannies wore aprons on a daily basis.

I am a registered nurse by profession. I have been a nurse for over 25 years as a second career.
I am mom and grandmom, I wear my aprons proudly. I reside in the Nashville area of Tennessee.

A prayer
Thank you God for making me strong with Your love and Word which paves a path so I don't go wrong.
Thank you God for the food I eat and the family fellowship so sweet.
Thank you God for the birds that sing... thank you God for the best of everything.
