Charles Edward Reed, Jr.
Charles and Sophia had 10 children: John (served in WW I), Virgil (died in infancy), Edith, Fern, Ceci, l Russel, the twins Raymond Earl and Ruby Pearl, Mildred and Edna Bernice.
Charles Reed, Jr. passed away one month after his mother Mary on January 8th, 1944 at the age of 67.
Richard Cunningham
Richard attributed credit to his mother, Ellen Richardson, for his love of learning early in life, and that there was a correct way to do every job. Richard's mother was sold with her husband and other children. Richard remained on the plantation until Emancipation Proclamation, about three years later.
Rev. Joseph Gomer
Joseph Gomer (1834–1892) was an African American missionary on behalf of the United Brethren Church active in Sierra Leone with his wife Mary (Wiley) Gomer who is the maternal grandmother of Mary Finley.
